Rave4Andy's Man Club Weekender
Hey Ravers, it’s me - Mr Rave! I'm back in 2022 and bringing you the second instalment of the Rave4 Charity event series!
After the excessive strain the pandemic put on the NHS, it only felt right that the first event in this series was Rave4NHS. This consisted of a 24-hour live-streamed rave, during which we successfully raised £1,650 for the NHS; this donation contributed to additional resources and helped to support the vital key workers who save lives every day.
This time, I've chosen a charity very dear to my heart. I've lost friends and family to depression and poor mental health, so I know how difficult it can be. Unfortunately, there’s only a limited number of resources currently available out there for those who need it, and it isn't enough!
Andy's Man Club is a fantastic men's mental health charity that is breaking down the stigma when it comes to discussing and opening up about men’s mental health, with their slogan #itsokaytotalk. They actively encourage men to open up, and provide a safe space to speak up about the things that are troubling them. Since forming, they are continuing to grow amongst communities, with over 85 clubs across England, Scotland & Wales, as well as an online group for people unable to attend physical groups or people who live in different countries that feel they need support website: https://andysmanclub.co.uk/
Andy's Man Club run groups for all men - whether they have been through a storm, are currently living through a storm or have a storm brewing in their life.
NATIONWIDE TALKING GROUPS ARE OPEN EVERY MONDAY FROM 7 PM, EXCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS.
The Rave4AMC event will be held in two parts:
Part 1. Friday 25th November - Trance night
If you are a trance-lover, then this is the night for you! Nothing but trance from 10 PM until 4 AM. The line-up features some of the biggest names in trance, along with some amazing supporting acts.
Part 2. Saturday 26th November - Bassline & DnB!
If you love heavy wubs and dutty drops, then look no further! Featuring some of the best local support acts with Huddersfields finest headliners
