Raven the service dog needs our help.
Donation protected
Raven was born and raised to serve and protect others when they need it the most. Right now she is in desperate need of our help and the thought of letting her down is unbearable. As some of you know, Raven is my new service dog. We’ve only been together for a week but she’s been training for the last two years of her life to fill a role like this and the last 10 months of her life to help me specifically.
I bought her a new toy penguin as a welcome home gift thinking it was safe since it was manufactured and sold for dogs. Even though Raven rarely left my side, she somehow managed to eat the insides of the penguin as well as some external pieces. She could not vomit up
the plastic pieces and so they are stuck in her intestines causing a life threatening blockage. If she doesn’t receive this surgery she will not survive more than 2-3 days.
We need help from those around us or from anyone that wants to help support service dogs or disabled veteran causes. Her last bill was $1,400.00 which we’ve been able to pay. However, the estimate for her surgery and required hospitalization is over $7,000.00. Raven and I need to raise around $5,500.00 for her to be repaired, healed and brought back home.
Any help with making a donation and/or sharing my story with your friends—even $5-$10 will make a huge difference for us and GRATELY appreciated!
