Ray Escalante

Last Friday Ray and his friends were on one last summer trip when something unimaginable happened. They were enjoying time together in Oklahoma relaxing and taking in nature when my Ray suffered a massive heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors saved his life and he had to be put into a medically induced coma. On Tuesday the decision was made to return to the Dallas area where he was more comfortable. On the way to the cardiologist on Thursday, another tragedy struck Ray, being unable to see or walk on his own. We pray for healing for Ray and for strength for Andrea, Torivio, and Gabriel. Extended prayers and guidance are asked for the hospital staff for their wisdom and care during this time. Ray is the family's main income earner, and they were unprepared for the inevitable medical bills and rehabilitation costs. In addition, Andrea may need to take a leave of absence (which will be unpaid) to support Ray’s rehabilitation.

We hope to bless Andrea and Ray with funds for medical bills, utilities, food, and everyday expenses.
