Ray Lujan's Body Work Fund

Donation protected

Ray Lujan Jr., the owner and big boss of R&L Automotive in Fort Collins, CO is struggling with piling up medical bills, extra physical therapy expenses and to handle the financial burden that comes with a month long stay in the hospital.
Not only this, but Ray has a family to provide for and to keep happy and healthy. As well, he is a big help and person of support for his ailing mother, his brothers and sister and his many nieces and nephews. Ray is a kind-hearted man and will fix your car even if you have nothing to give him in return (ask his niece). If you are stuck in the middle of nowhere and your car is broken down, he will drop anything to go pick you up and tow your car. He is not one to ask for help, but I think he deserves all the help he can get after beating Covid19 and helping so many people in Northern Colorado. His passions are working with cars, racing fast cars and taking care of his family.

Ray Lujan Jr. was hospitalized November 30th 2020 with Covid19. He was not given a good prognosis and we all prepared to lose him. He was on a ventilator for weeks and had all the hard work of all the doctors at Poudre Valley Hospital and the prayers and strength of his loved ones on his side. While severely ill with Covid19 he had a few medical issues and episodes that caused him to need physical therapy to get back to where he was. He left behind R& L Automotive, his wife and his three boys. Joey and Jericho (and most likely Camaro) kept the shop going for his dad- they really stepped up and kept themselves above water. Ray missed Christmas with his family and ringing in 2021.   But with the prayers and strength of our family he has made it this far, is off of the ventilator and working through physical therapy so he can get back in the world and start fixing cars- he is stubborn and I don't think he is ever going to retire.

So we organized this GoFundMe to help raise money to get Ray back on his feet when he finally gets discharged from the hospital and back to being his ol' ornery self. Please find it in your heart to share or donate to this fundraiser!
