RAY O'BANNON COVID RELIEF

On Nov MY life changed.. I was rushed to hospital at 330 am complaining of having trouble breathing. I called 911 and I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I was then placed into a cooling chamber for the next 24hrrs to preserve my brain. I was then transferred to ICU where I then learned I had Covid for the 2nd time within 30 days. I was placed into a medically induced coma, on life support/ventilator so thaty my body could rest and heal.
The next day I learned i had an air pocket in my lung and that I was in kidney failure. I had to then give premission for a port line for dialysis. 5 days later I gave consent for an MRI scan of my brain and to run a brain wave scan. I suffered a severe brain injury to the frontal cortex of my brain wave were low. GLORY TO GOD On thanksgiving I began to show signs of trying to talk .. . Talk about being grateful. From that day on, Ive made small victories everyday. I was then transferred from Covid ICU to the Covid floor and then across the street to the medical
specialty hospital. I have been here since Dec 3rd for my acute medical needs, physical
therapy and dialysis treatment.
Due to not being able to work, and the fact I will not be working for some time, my wife and I had to move out of our home recently, and are living with family. While waiting for my disability to get approved, we will need temp housing like an AirBnB here in Dallas so I can still continue my PT and dialysis, since where I currently live has stairs which he has not conquered yet. I
think it will be 2 months until I am able to travel. I will need other small essential items, anything help
with my cognitive skills, laptop and clothes due to his weight loss. My wife currently still working but
have taken some time off to help to care for Me when she can. This transition has been difficult to say the least. But I know God is my protection.
Our plan is to move back home to Sac for moral and physical support. The continuation
care that he will need, I would need the support of our friends and family. We believe that i will be able to travel by at least March. I am a fighter and I know I have a road ahead of him but with Sac on
back i know he will win!!
Special Thanks To my Loving and Supportive Wife. Without her And your help, none of this would be possible!
GOD BLESS!
