Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Ray on Wednesday, October 2nd. Ray was an amazing young man who had so much life left to live. His sudden departure has left a deep void in the lives of those who loved him most—his mom, dad, and brother and friends. As they face this heartbreaking time, we are asking for your support to help ease the financial burden that comes with such a sudden loss.

Ray had a special place in the hearts of many. For me, he was "Little Ray". When he was younger, I would often find him in my fridge, gathering snacks for the gaming session going in my basement full of boys. He would greet me with a big, familiar, smile and explain that "we're always hungry". He was passionate about video games and could often be found sharing his love for them with friends and family. Mostly, Ray was kind. One of those rare, just really great guys. Always a source of joy and positivity. His warmth, laughter, and kind spirit were felt by everyone who knew him. To say that he will be missed is hugely inadequate. This world was definitely a better place with him in it.

Ray’s family is going through an incredibly difficult time. In addition to the emotional toll of losing a son and brother, they are now facing the unexpected costs of funeral arrangements and other expenses. We are raising funds to help support them during this tragic time, so they can focus on healing without the added stress of financial worries.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to Ray's family to help cover funeral expenses and to offer them some relief as they navigate through this painful chapter of their lives. Your generosity will mean the world to them as they try to cope with this unimaginable loss.
