Ray Ward

Hi my name is James Ward and I am the very proud father of Ray Ward. My son passed away on June 4th and what I'm trying to accomplish with this is I want to bring awareness to the American public and to our United States government the real harm that drugs are doing to this country. I would like to be able to get in front of Congress and make a difference. I would like to establish a safe place for people with addictions some place to go to get help without judgement. I have watched my son go through this and it definitely was a learning process. Many people pass judgement will turn their backs on people that they love. I have learned that addiction is a very real problem that nobody wants to deal with that people want to ignore close their eyes to. I can't just let go and do nothing my son deserves more than that. I really would like to dedicate my life making a difference so that another parent never has to go through what I'm going through. I hope people will help me with this cause. This is something that I need to do out of respect and love for my son. If I can make a difference if my voice can be loud enough to change one life I would be successful. The death of my son absolutely broke my heart left me shattered as a man. I can't just move on I can't pretend that it doesn't affect me. I want to make a difference I want to get in front of Congress I want to close the borders I want the American people aware of the problem. Too many times we close our eyes to people that have addictions. My son was an amazing young man most intelligent hardest-working young man you would ever meet. He would give the shirt right off his back to help someone. I want to make a difference please find it in your heart to help me make that difference. Let us try to make a difference together I will be the loudest voice in the room I will have passion and desire to make this happen. I will get in front of Congress I will make a difference my son Ray deserves that. Every parent that is going through something similar I will be your voice for change. Together I know we can accomplish a lot. Please let's make a difference together and donate I don't care if it's $0.25 or a million dollars every dime will be used to help make a difference.
