Raymond Mott's Road to Recovery

In 2019, Latasha and Raymond Mott's world was turned upside down when a high-speed police chase ended in the criminal's car crashing into Latasha, sending her car into the side of a house. Multiple broken bones throughout Latasha's body resulted in over a year of physical and emotional recovery. Through it all, Raymond was her rock.

Now it is Raymond who has a road to recovery in front of him. In September, after experiencing unexplainable pain and weight loss for months, Raymond was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer which has spread to several parts of his body. After originally being told that there was nothing that could be done apart from easing Raymond's pain, doctors at Chapel Hill have given the couple hope and are developing a treatment plan.
