Raymond needs surgery

Update: We got the money for his legs to get fixed! But because it took us a month to get it where they didn’t pay him and then getting Covid out important bills got behind big time so now we just need help getting back on our feet is all.
Hello my name is ShelbyAnn Schroen. My husband Raymond is who needs the surgery on his leg. We have been together for 8 year and married for 3 year. He is 32 and was a volunteer firefighter for 10 year and worked correctional for 4 year. He is very selfless and would do anything he can for friends and family. He would get asked by people why he would run into a burning room for free he would always reply with “ why should I get paid for saving a life?” That always stuck with me. He moved down to Texas 5 years ago from Baltimore, MD. He grown up in Baltimore with his siblings and his mom. He told me once that one of the main reasons he because a correctional officer was because he knew where a lot of the kids were coming from and to show them that it doesn’t matter where or how you grow up you can always be better. Unfortunately that filed just got to much with having a daughter and a family so he went back to school and started working for a temp job for the Dallas Cowboys. On Wednesday November 24th we were at work like normal. Looking forward to thanksgiving. See Raymond has Varicose Veins on his legs. He had a sore on his ankle for a few day and we just thought it was his shoes we’re to tight or the sock he had on were to small. We soon would find out that was not the case. He was walking and he as doing ok. He came back from going up and down the stairs and went back to his work station to be told he is bleeding from his ankle. His vein blew and he was bleeding out on the floor. It was one of the most scariest things I had to watch and stay calm for he was dying in fount of me. The ambulance finally came (felt like forever for me can’t imagine how he felt) and took him to the er. He got a stick and told he needed to go to a vein specialist ASAP. Him nor I have insurance so it became a challenge. I found Vein clinics of American. They had told us that we needed 200 for a consultation and 6000 for the surgery and he is not going to be able to work until this gets done. They kept telling me and him that once one vein goes more come to follow. So it’s a matter of time. I am so beyond grateful for anything weather it 1 dollar or 100.
