Raymond's College Fundraiser

My name is Raymond Sanders, and I am a senior at Huntington High School. This page is in memory of my father David Sanders, who bravely fought terminal cancer for over two years before he passed away. My father was a fighter in any challenge life presented; he was a United States Marine, a helicopter pilot, a video producer, a cyclist, and all-around- adventurer, but he always remembered to put his loved ones first. Even through sickness, my father tirelessly helped me with my college applications- it was his biggest wish to see me succeed and go on to further my studies.

I will carry on my father's perseverance, striving to fulfill his dream that I would reach my full potential in this world. So far I have been accepted to several schools among which I am still deciding, but they currently include Fordham University, Binghamton University, University at Buffalo, and Syracuse University.

I will update this page as I hear back from additional schools including: Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern University, Colgate University, Vassar College, University of Rochester, and George Washington University.
