Raymundo Ortiz Prudencio
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our brother and long-time team member Raymundo Ortiz, due to a tragic accident while visiting family. Please consider helping his family with a donation at this devastating time.
Reymundo is survived by his wife, Christine. He was her primary caretaker through several major health concerns and your donation will help her in his absence in the short term.
"Mundo was one of the first people I got to do assembly with at FireFly. His work ethic was exceptional. Whatever work there was to do, Mundo had no problem jumping in to help, not just at Firefly but everywhere he went. He would often have 2-4 jobs at a time. Not only was he a hard worker but he also knew how to have fun at the same time. He always had a smile on his face and could make light of any situation, which, for me, usually entailed him teaching me phrases in Spanish that HR probably wouldn’t approve of these days. He loved his family who were always his first priority. He was always talking about his wife and kids and how strong each of them are. I will miss his stories and his friendship."

"Raymundo always had a great attitude, and I've shared many good laughs with him over the years."

"Mundo, thank you for being a friend. We all are traveling on a journey, part of which we call life. There was never a time our journeys crossed and you failed to stop and say hello and check on how I am. You were the first one I would see in the morning in the old building and you always gave a warm welcome and shared your smile. I looked forward to starting my day with your smile. I will miss your friendship until our journeys cross paths again. Thank you, I will miss you."

"I’ve worked with Raymundo for close to 20 years—13 here at FireFly and 7 before that. He has been one of our most trusted workers and a good friend. He was a very positive hard worker, a good team player, and fun to work with. He was always someone you could rely on. Mundo was a dedicated family man to his wife and kids. In all the years I knew him, I never once heard him complain about anything. We will miss him."
