Support the Weatherd Family After Devastating House Fire

Hey Friends, Family and Community,

We are reaching out to ask for your support for a beautiful family in our community, the Weatherd family, who recently experienced a heartbreaking tragedy. The Weathered family’s home caught fire, and while we are thankful that everyone is safe, they have lost almost everything they own. Without insurance, they are now facing the daunting task of rebuilding their entire lives from scratch.

They are a family of seven, a hardworking mom and dad, along with their five children. In addition to raising their family, the Weatherd’s have been running a small soul food business, Ray’s Cuisine, out of their home. Ray’s Cuisine has quickly become a community and local favorite, feeding the hearts and souls of many in our community with love, and often donating meals to the homeless. Unfortunately, with the loss of their home, they no longer have a place to operate their business and support their family.

Right now, they are in urgent need of help. They’ve lost almost everything except for a few clothes and shoes. They will need immediate assistance for basic needs such as clothing, food, temporary shelter, and eventually, a new home. With your generous support, we hope to not only help them rebuild their home but also provide them the opportunity to restart their business, which has been a source of pride and livelihood for their family.
