Ray's Birthday Fundraiser!
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
I'm really looking forward to my birthday party - hope you can come and let Mum know any food allergies (don't tell me, I'll just run away).
Mum and Dad are getting me just what I want for my birthday. Grandma has bought me a robot that has 100's of tiny pieces and I'm looking forward to critiquing my parents' abilities to put that together.
If you've already bought me a gift: thanks so much!
If you haven't, please can I ask that you don't buy me anything. Instead, I'd like to ask you to make a donation here and the adults will transfer the total to Foodbank.
Please don't think that I would prefer a gift, or that you need to buy me a gift AND donate here. No, no, no. Like Dad says "Is anyone listening to me here?"
I'm still super happy with my great gifts from last year (thanks everyone!). It's going to be a big party and I really don't need that many new toys.
My parents and I have talked about this and I agree that I'd like to do something for charity for my birthday.
I want to help Foodbank because I know how much I enjoy eating and I'd like to help other people be able to open a drawer and find food there, just like I do.
Food prices keep on increasing and as a happy 6 year old I have no idea about this at all! But Foodbank helps a lot of people (92 million meals last year - hopefully they didn't include broccoli in those) and we'd like to help them do that.
You can find out more info on Foodbank here
Please donate and come along to the party without a gift! Yes, you can - I promise you!!
Thanks,
Ray
PS: My IT Helpdesk lady (Mum) says she doesn't know how to set this up directly to Foodbank but promises that this is really for charity and will not be spent on clothes or books as she definitely does not need more. Two can play that game. Oh yes.
