Tragic loss of retired APD officer Ray Shillito

On November 12, 2023, my dear friend and best friend’s husband, Ray Shillito suddenly lost his life in a tragic car accident. This unforeseen sudden loss has left Rebecca and the kids in complete shock and had added the stress of processing how to navigate life without Ray. Unfortunately Rebecca now has the added stress of the full financial burden of their monthly bills. Because Rebecca recently started a new job, she has not accrued much paid time off to properly grieve the loss of Ray and still financially support herself and her family. Through this GoFundMe, we are hoping to soften this sudden and unforeseen financial burden Rebecca now has. Rebecca and family are going to need some time to heal from this tragic loss before going back to work. Any donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated and will go directly to support Rebecca and the kids through this awful time.
