A bikers worst fear.

On Sunday September 25th, 2022. Our father, Troy Miller was in a terrible motorcycle accident. He hit a patch of loose gravel and bumps on the road which caused him to lose all control of his bike.
The aftermath of this accident left dad with injuries that will take a very long time to get him back to where he was before. Dad is currently still in the ICU, he is stable and getting the care he needs.
He has a advanced concussion, which could take months, too years to come out of. He has a lower eye fracture along with multiple nasal breaks. Which means plastic surgery will need to take place.
He has a broken clavicle, a fractured sternum, 8 broken ribs, along with a lot of lacerations and bruising that is starting to subside. His left lung is bruised from the impact of the accident as well
He has a Broken ankle and broken fibula and tibia we are waiting for him to become more stable in Oder to preform surgery on this.
With injuries from had too toe, dad still remains the strongest man we know, and for everyone that knows dad you know he’s always on the go, always hanging out at his favorite places or working around the clock to help others. He is by far the kindest, giving person and biggest teddy bear, and always makes sure that people he knows and even people he doesn’t know are happy, he doesn’t like seeing anyone down, or hurt.
Matter of fact we were informed by one of the amazing waitress at East coast pub that on Sunday during lunch our dad was a hero! Just a few hours before his accident. A man was choking at a table and Dad (Troy) casually stood up off his stool unzipped his Jacket and walked over and preformed the Heimlich maneuver. Our Dad saved that man’s life and never even spoke about it, he just did it out the kindness of his heart. This is just one of the many random acts of kindness Troy Miller does without any hesitation. Dad is always a helping hand in any situation.
Troy is the kind of man that wouldn’t ask anyone for anything. So we know that us reaching out for help may not be what he would want us to do especially.. on his behalf.. but unfortunately the state he is in we are not giving him and his fiancé (Shannon) the option to say “no thank you”.
We want to be sure that dad is completely comfortable, and stays focused on recovering from this accident. If you know our dad(Troy), you know he will want to start picking up right where he left off the day he gets up but that unfortunately will not be possible for a while.
