Help JT Race in the 2025 Antarctic Ice Marathon

Hello friends and family,
I would like to race the 2025 Antarctic Ice Marathon at Union Glacier Camp in Antarctica on December 13th, 2025. You can find all the race and travel information here: https://www.icemarathon.com.

The entry fee for the race is $22,500, which covers:
- Entry to race the marathon
- Briefing in Punta Arenas one day prior to departure
- Round-trip flights from Punta Arenas to Antarctica
- Transfers to and from Punta Arenas airport, Chile for Antarctic flight
- Meals and tented accommodation while in Antarctica
- A baggage allowance of up to 55 lbs (25 kg) on Punta Arenas-Union Glacier flight
- Medal, t-shirts, patches, and other souvenirs of the race
- Professional photos for personal use (and local publication)
I rounded the fundraising up to 24k to help cover my travel from Texas to Punta Arenas. If the donations fall short, I'd be willing to cover 5-7k of the expenses, but if I fall 10k short, I won't be able to make the trip. If that happens, I will be happy to refund any donations if desired.
While there, I would also like to set up a 24-hour cam if possible and will take other pictures and videos of the area to share with you all later. If internet is available, I'll live-stream as much as possible.
I look forward to seeing what there is to see there and leaving it all out there on the race course. In looking at past times, I would be aiming at coming in Top 5 overall.
