Help Laurel and Easy

If you know Laurel and Easy, you know joy. Both of them are always so positive and always bring the party. Little Easy needs some help.

On Sunday, September 19, while Easy was with me for her first sleep over, she had a seizure. Easy’s seizure lasted the hour it took us to get her to Burlington Emergency Veterinary Services. She was immediately taken in and it was discovered she had a liver shunt.

Easy spent 3 days at BEVS while they developed a treatment plan. For the last three weeks, Easy has been on a prescription diet and multiple medications to keep her alive and well. Laurel has been giving Easy round the clock care and Easy has been thriving. The time has now come for Easy to have her liver repaired so that she can live a full and happy life.

Tomorrow, October 13, 10 month old Easy will under go surgery to repair the shunt in her liver. I would like to be able to help Laurel with the cost of surgery, Easy’s medication, diet, and rehabilitation.
