Monthly and Medical Bills

Hello, my name is Deb and I am starting this page to help out my parents, Robert and Michelle. My dad was diagnosed with MS almost 30years ago. We are fortunate enough that my family has been able to help take care of him from home. My mom has been the sole person to help out all while working a full time job. However, since March of this year, my dad has been in and out of the hospital. In April he was having a hard time digesting food properly, which resulted in more complications. The best option was to have surgery and have a feeding tube inserted. The surgery was risky and very invasive and required several days of recovery at the hospital and much more recovery time at home. From the time he had his feeding tube inserted up until last week, my dad has gotten pneumonia more than once and was hospitalized again.

All of this resulted in my mom needing to stay home with him and taking off 3 months from her job. Luckily her job allowed for it, but unfortunately it was without pay. While insurance does cover some of the cost, there are many other bills and necessities my parents are struggling with.

My mom has sacrificed a lot over the years with raising me and my brother and helping my dad. She did all this without asking for anything, always putting everyone else first, making sure we were all taken care of and happy. I know my entire family is forever grateful for her.

I am asking if you are able to please contribute to this fundraiser and help out my parents. Any contribution would immensely help to alleviate the stress on my family; we all just want to be able to continue to help my dad and spend time with him.
