RCRC goes to the National Championships!

Thirty-six Rose City Rowing Club athletes have qualified for the 2022 National Championships! We are very proud of our young men and women. They have worked very hard to earn the opportunity to race against the best teams in the country!
Choosing to put in the effort to achieve great things is a transformative process for a young adult. With each small success comes increased determination and self-confidence. Learning to work towards a shared goal with teammates is also a skill that will serve these youngsters well as they move into adulthood. These kids have chosen the path of hard work and teamwork. These are traits that should be encouraged and celebrated!
Very few people can say that they once competed for a National Championship. In fact, it could be a life-changing event for some! It is a rare and exciting opportunity that our rowers are thrilled to be undertaking. It is also a trip that will require significant effort, and, unfortunately, significant financing.
At RCRC we have never turned any youngster away for financial reasons. Our doors are open to all. We pride ourselves on supporting those who make an effort and are engaged in our community, but we do need help! We are hoping our greater community of friends, family and rowers will help us make the trip affordable for our athletes.
Money raised will go directly to our athletes who cannot afford this heavy lift on their own. Please help us support this energetic team rise to the next level in their rowing journey. We will be pulling for you!
