Autumn & Damon’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Update: Autumn has an internal decapitation, internal bleeding, and brain bleed. Damon has a broken nose, internal bleeding, and had to lose his kidney and spleen. Autumn had surgery to fuse the top two vertebrae back to her skull and repair the ligaments that were severed and it went well. She is able to move her limbs, her toes, and squeeze your hand. Neither have been able to be awake enough to be coherent.
Our dear friends and their children who are like family to us were in a terrible car accident due to the negligence of another driver. Their two children (pictured above) are in critical condition with the daughter in a serious and lengthy surgery as I type this. They were traveling to a family members house when the accident occurred and by the grace of God they were just ten minutes from the children’s hospital in Kentucky. If they weren’t so close, the daughter would not have made it. The injuries are extensive and are going to require a lengthy recovery. They are 4 hours from home and they will be staying with their children until their release from the hospital which at this time we do not know when that will be. They are not going to be able to return to work for quite some time even after they make it back home due to helping their children recover and the needs that will be required. If you can please donate no matter how small will be appreciated more than you know. The parents are aware that we are doing this for them and are incredibly grateful. Most importantly, please keep this family and their children in your prayers and if you can help in any way please do. Thank you so much!
