RDL Inclusive Playground Expansion Project
Donation protected
The Red Deer Lake School Council is fundraising to install a new, inclusive playground at Red Deer Lake School. The new playground will benefit children in both our school and greater community, including those with mobility limitations, sensory disorders, learning differences, and autism spectrum disorder - kids who don’t always feel comfortable in our current playground.
Countless studies demonstrate the importance of play. The existing play structure at RDL is not only insufficient in size, it lacks an inclusive design. The proposed inclusive playground space would be welcoming and safe for all children in the school and greater community. The students at the school will no longer require a schedule to use the playground safely, and it will be fully accessible to the public during non-school hours.

We would be so appreciative of any donation that you may be able to make to this cause!
