Richard Wheeler

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, Richard Wheeler, age 79. He was not only a great dad and husband, but was known best by his grandkids as “Papa”. He loved his family most of all.

In October he was diagnosed with Stage 4 gastric cancer. It was devastating to us but he was fighting. He had 4 sessions of chemo done and his tumor markers had been improving. His last text message to me was “I feel better and I will do whatever I have to do to stay alive” and even asked me to bring him pancit and pie on Monday.

Unfortunately he was having trouble breathing and passed early Sunday morning, 1-14-24. He was able to ask my mom to pray for him right before, as she called the paramedics. 

Any donations to assist my family in the cost of his funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated. We will be making arrangements soon. Thank you.
