Help my family in Gaza reach safety

My name is Hazem, and I am from Gaza. Since 2018, I have not been able to see my family who live in the northern part of Gaza due to the difficult situation there. I have four brothers and one sister who live with my parents in Jabalia Camp.

Unfortunately, our home was bombed and destroyed during the recent events, causing severe psychological and physical harm to my family due to the catastrophic situation they are currently living in.

My family is suffering from a severe shortage of food, supplies, and medical necessities, in addition to the skyrocketing prices that make it difficult to meet their basic needs. They cannot even access clean drinking water. Losing our home has exacerbated their suffering, and their daily life has become a constant struggle for survival.

Urgent Need to Leave Gaza

Given the current dire situation, it is crucial for my family to leave Gaza as soon as possible once the Rafah border crossing to Egypt opens. I am hopeful that it will open soon, and we need to raise the necessary funds quickly to ensure their safe passage. It costs approximately $5,000 per person to exit Gaza through the Rafah crossing.

Family Details and Financial Requirements

Our family consists of 7 members:

- 5 adults (my parents and four siblings)

- 2 children (my younger brother and sister)

The total amount needed for safe passage is calculated as follows:

- *5 adults x $5,000 = $25,000*

- *2 children x $5,000 = $10,000*

In addition to the travel costs, we need funds to secure temporary housing and basic necessities once they leave Gaza. Therefore, we are aiming to raise a total of *$50,000* to cover these immediate and urgent needs.

The donations will be used to:

- Cover the costs of exiting Gaza for all family members.

- Secure temporary housing and provide basic necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies once they are out.
