My name is Tshering Lhazin and this is my friend Anjali Chhetri, 19-year-old from Bhutan. My dear friend here has faced immense challenges , including the heartbreaking loss of both her parents two years ago leaving her to shoulder the responsibilities of her young brother who is only 12 who she now cares for with love and strength.

Despite these overwhelming hardships, Anjali has shown remarkable resilience and dedication to her education. Through sheer willpower and hardwork she secured a $200,000 scholarship at the Tetr college of business. The scholarship covers her accommodation, one way flights, tuition, and cultural immersions . However, she still needs an additional $32,000 usd (aud 48,250)over four years for meals, administrative fees, and living expenses. Without this support , she might miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Anjali's journey is filled with achievements that highlight her perseverance and spirit:

•LEADER: Anjali served as the class representative and literary leader at Yangchenphung Higher Secondary School in Thimphu, Bhutan . Her leadership skills and dedication made a significant impact on her peers and school

•VOLUNTEER: with a passion for art and community service, Anjali actively volunteers at art exhibitions, charity events , cleaning campaigns, and plantation drives. Her belief in making a difference, no matter how small is truely inspiring.

•INTERN: In 2022, Anjali gained valuable experience working at a construction firm for six months. She thrived in this environment, learning to navigate real world challenges with focus and determination.

Anjali dreams of using her education to help children like herself who need higher education but can't afford it. She also wants to support her younger brother and elderly grandparents in their rural village. Anjali's determination to make the most of this opportunity is unwavering.
