Our beloved Trevon Richardson's life was cut short due to gun violence on Memorial Day, Monday May 28th at the tender age of 18. He was an inspiration to so many of his friends and team mates of Cedar Grove High School. Trevon was recently accepted into Valdosta State University on a football scholarship and was slated to attend this coming fall.
Young Trevon received so many awards and accolades for his accomplishments including an award for scoring over 1000 on his S.A.T. as well as a State Football Championship ring just to name a few. With so many dreams and aspirations, he was certain to become a bright and shining star.
Recently, the community, schoolmates, team mates and news media outlets came out in support of Trevon by the hundreds to hold a candle light vigil in his subdivision. Many people have continued to contact these news media outlets wondering what can they do to help The Richardson family in their time of sorrow.
We ask that you please donate whatever your heart allows and know that all of your contributions will be greatly appreciated. All funds will be used to cover any and all expenses related to this sudden and unexpected tragedy.
