Reach AASI National Team.

Hello friends and family,
Thanks for reading my page. I want to take the time to reach out and ask if any of you would be willing to support my journey to reach the national team for PSIA/AASI (Professional Ski Instructors of America / American Association of Snowboard Instructors). This endeavor has been in the works since I was 15 years old when I taught my first lesson. Now as the programs manager at Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon, and a Coach at Cardrona Ski Field in Wanaka, New Zealand, I find myself looking to help lead the National Organization.
My approach to snowboard instruction is profoundly effective. I fuse core tenets of Adventure Education and Experiential Education to facilitate engaged learning and empower riders to discover capability within themselves. With the goal of students experiencing those long-sought “aha” breakthroughs while unlocking their potential. I aim to transform people’s thoughts of what they think is possible to what they know is possible.
All this leaves me primed to bring this philosophy onto snowboarding’s biggest stage - the national team. I have a rare chance to implement these methods at the highest echelons, mentoring elite talent. This will allow me to grow my dreams even bigger - positively influencing coaching standards across the entire sport.
Yet pursuing these ambitious goals requires significant financial support. As an independent instructor, I lack major sponsorship to back future endeavors. I need assistance covering extensive costs - travel and equipment expenses, training, and registration fees.
I feel that my vision is boundless and with the right funding, my creative experiential approach could redefine coaching norms and accessibility for aspiring riders and coaches everywhere. But I cannot journey far alone. I welcome you to invest in my work through any amount of monetary contribution. Help empower me as a leader so uniquely committed to progressing snowboarding’s future. Let’s build the bridge to bring this vision splendidly to life.
