Reaching for a new set of lungs

Hello, my name is Gustavo and I am here to ask for your help. My mother has a condition called Scleroderma. It is an autoimmune disorder where her body is attacking itself which is basically turning her into stone little by little . Her condition is attacking mainly her internal organs. It has caused pulmonary fibrosis, gastroparesis, and Barrett’s esophagus . She has to be careful when she eats as well because she can choke on her food. It is also hardening her skin. She has had an amputation of one of her fingers already due to the damage of the skin and contraction of her fingers causing poor circulation . Making this very painful. Her doctors are looking to put her on a lung transplant list. This requires travel and stay expenses from El Paso to Houston which we cannot afford unfortunately. These would be on going medical evaluations back and forth until it is decided if she is a candidate for the transplant.My Mom is always trying to stay on the positive side. I know she will not give up easily. She will continue to fight and live life with purpose for as long as God permits. We will never lose hope. my siblings and I will continue in this Battle with her.
