Lovingly reaching out on behalf of sister Toni G.

Dearest Community,
On Saturday, July 8, 2023, our beloved sister, Toni G. and her family survived a major electrical fire that started in the basement of their home of 10 years in California. Toni, along with her elderly mother, Lucille and daughter, Ayana thankfully escaped physically unharmed and are safe. However, their home suffered significant destruction and continues to be consumed with the dangerous aftermath of smoke damage.
Amidst this calamity, Toni has remained rooted in her recovery and faith. She is sober and humbly grateful for the greatest gift of all- life itself. As she works to maintain her and her family’s daily needs, Lucille’s medical care, Ayana’s needs as a person with autism, and replacing the 80% of their belongings that were lost in the fire, are among her utmost and significant concerns.
If you are able, please consider supporting Toni as she and her family strive to recuperate and regain safety, stability, and a sense of normalcy in their home. Any contributions towards replacing items including but not limited to beds, clothing, furniture, appliances, toiletries, linens, and cookware; as well as Toni’s precious saxophone and seeing to it that Ayana experiences a previously planned white water rafting adventure will be deeply appreciated.
Thank you all for your love and prayers, as well as for the reminder that it takes a village to keep pumping encouragement. Toni is feeling the love, the support, and the energy. May God bless and keep you always️️.
