Read for POTS Research with CC
Not all fundraising has to be physical; my Dysautonomia Awareness Fundraiser this October is all about downtime!
I am the Community Engagement Officer for the Australian POTS Foundation and I have POTS myself. I am symptomatic every day and there is no way I could participate in an exercise challenge at this stage. So I came up with POTS Page Turners, a virtual bookclub with a fundraising element.
Rather than getting physical, we're going to focus on a little self-care downtime and get reading/listening.
30 minutes a day or 30 pages - you choose.
Simply donate here and share with friends and family and get them involved too!
I will share what I'm reading and hope to generate some chatter and book recommendations.
Why 30? The diagnostic criteria for POTS includes a rise of 30 beats per minute (bpm) in heart rate upon standing. So, we’re taking the power of 30 bpm and turning it into a force for good!
All funds raised will go directly to supporting the Australian POTS Foundation, ensuring locally funded research, resources, and advocacy for our community.
Together, raise awareness, and raise funds.
Because POTS matters!
