Reader's Surgery MAJOR UPDATE

EDIT: PLEASE READ MY MOST RECENT UPDATE
On December 4th, I had taken my 6-year old cat to the vet, as he had been throwing up foam and saliva and wasn't eating. At the same time, he had horrible sneezing fits and was gaining ulcurs on his nose, which would bleed profusely. At the time, the vets decided he wasn't eating due to him having Pneumonia and clogging his nose so he couldn't smell, which was why he wasn't eating. He was given antibiotics which, after a week, he was no longer sneezing, and was starting to eat again. He was taken to the vet for a check up a week and half later and figured everything was fine. About two days ago (12/29) or so, Reader was noticed throwing up foam with bile mixed in it, which then ended up just being foam over the next few days. He wasn't back to eating once again and took him back to the vet today.
What is shown here were xrays to see if he had any obstructions in his intestines which confirmed it. To add to this, his skin is yellowing and his gums are turning pale, meaning his liver is failing.
He was given some fluids today but have been told if he can't get surgery by the end of the week, he isn't going to make it.
I've been told that the surgery could cost between $2000 and $5000 depending on if he will need to stay after surgery, how long, etc.
Please help me. I cannot pay any of this myself as my job is letting me go after my one day of work next week and I can't bare to lose him...
