Re-admission for Princess Evelyn

Hi CDLS fam! Our Evie had a fundo on June 30. She was inpatient for a few days, came home for 2 days, and experienced severe complications and had to go right back in. She has been inpatient since. I have never felt so terrified! She got admitted with the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis and small bowel blockage. He kidney and liver were suffering. All her labs were terrible! They treated for sepsis with antibiotics. She now has pleural effusion and a tpn. So many issues!!!! Thankfully her labs have improved greatly so far! Daddy has been by her side at the children’s hospital day and night and I have been holding down the fort at home with Ev’s 5 siblings. I am also in nursing school full time, so I have been skipping from home to school to hospital.

I quit my part time job a few months ago so I could dedicate more time to school, and my husband has been off unpaid staying with Ev. We have had no flow of money the past couple of weeks and are hurting on so many levels. We thought we would reach out and see if anyone could help us in this time of need.
