Children of the City Preparatory School is a non-profit satellite ministry of Alabaster Church of God in Christ that serves students in grades K-12. Our campus is located on the south side of the Greater Jackson Mississippi Metro Area.

We strongly emphasize Christian principles, such as holiness and clean living. We are not denominationally oriented. The objective of the preparatory school is to prepare students to become morally responsible leaders in our global society. As students develop a penchant for outstanding achievement, we instill habits of hard work, enthusiasm for life-long learning, and a commitment to public service through faith-based teachings.

Children of the City students learn the importance of authority, democracy, and citizenship. We seek to provide our students with a sound environment and educational opportunities that will promote higher achievement standards which will enable our students to compete on an international level.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide a loving, supportive, safe, and educational environment for elementary and secondary school-aged children, with a special emphasis on social development and character building through high disciplinary standards.
