Reardon & Smith Family Maui Fire Recovery Fund

Aloha my name is Tarita Keohokalole-Look. I am from 'Oahu and I am a long time friend of Lucy Reardon, Shane Smith and their two beautiful babies.

I am raising funds for my old college roommate and my best friend, Lucy, and her 'ohana. Her house and everything in it were completely burnt to the ground in the Lahaina fires that swept through Maui on August 8, 2023.

Fortunately, they were able to make it out of Lahaina with their two children, Riley and Olivia, and Lucy's brother, his two young children and pup. Lucy was able to help her 90-year-old neighbor evacuate Lahaina as well.

Lucy and her brother had their house passed down to them from their grandfather and I am fundraising to help support this family as they try to rebuild their lives from this sudden and horrific tragedy. The funds will be used specifically for Lucy's family to obtain the following:

UPDATE: Lucy wanted me to share with you all that she is so thankful and shocked at all of the overwhelming support - "I am at a complete los for words and cannot comprehend the generosity. I am someone who is so used to helping and doing what's right and never in my life would I have thought that I would be in the position of needing help. The outpouring of love and generosity has me overwhelmingly emotional and I can't thank you all enough."
