Rebecca's recovery from major brain surgery

Read her story here.
Rebecca has friends and family all over the country. Anyone who knows our ray of sunshine, Rebecca, knows how wonderful and warm, of a beam of light she is. She is the most dedicated and loyal friend that I have ever had and I know a lot of you can say the same about her. I now can say that she one of the strongest and badass women i have ever met in my life- going through 3 major heart surgeries and now, brain surgery.
Last week Rebecca's world changed. Rebecca had been having headaches, fatigue, eye pain with swelling and physical deformity. It got so bad that she ended up in hospital. After running a few scans, tests, pokes, prods and misdiagnosis, Rebecca was told she had not one, not two, but five benign tumors growing in very critical areas on her brain, one being on her occipital nerve. She was diagnosed with neurofibrometosis, which means that benign tumors will continue to grow in her brain. There is no treatment for this besides monitoring the tumors and taking out the problematic ones as they appear. She has also been tested for neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis or Lyme disease (please keep asking/praying for negative results in this department).
When I say Rebecca has been brave, she has not let the news dull her shine at all. I think I have probably cried more than her. She has been so positive but we continue to have worries about her bills being paid while she is in recovery. She was working two jobs to make ends meet before the news, so she will definitely be missing out on the income. The $3500 would give her plenty of cushion to live for at least two months, and pay for medications she will need post op.
While Rebecca has endless support from her family, it can be a lot for one family to bear. She needs us, and she would never ask for that help personally (stubborn Pisces). I was ecstatic that I was able to finally talk her into a gofundme and letting the people who love her step in and help her during a really hard time in her life. $1, $5, $10? Doesn't matter, it all helps.
We love you Rebecca.
