I’ve created this go fund me in hopes it reaches anyone that may be able to help.

My aunty Rebecca who’s just 43 has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive grade 4 brain tumour. Last night she was informed she is in her last stages of life & has 2 weeks to 2 months left to live. This has completely broken her heart & the rest of our family’s. She is not able to walk anymore, remember things or even comprehend things anymore. Townsville hospital have done everything they can, surgery is unsuccessful as well as inoperable now & the tumour will continue to grow. At this stage radiotherapy is not an option as this will cause her brain to bleed and she will unfortunately pass away straight away. We are facing a huge emotional and financial challenge, especially living on an island away from the hospital. Everyday my uncle is paying $38 to go to the hospital every morning on the boat & another $38 every afternoon to return home as he can’t afford to stay on the mainland in a motel & the hospital won’t allow him to stay as visiting hours are between 8am and 8pm.

To take his car across on the boat will cost him almost $200 which he can’t afford every day, if he could he would just sleep in his car but at this stage it’s not a option with the financial struggles he is facing. I’m asking if you can TRY help ease and take away uncertainty my uncle is facing over the next couple of months by making a small donation. Even just a share may help reach someone that may be able to help.

At this stage we are trying to fund ferry rides to and from the island & to and from the mainland, maybe even accommodation to help my uncle stay close by to my aunty incase her final 2 months comes sooner than later. Also to help fund my beautiful aunty’s medication as well as her funeral arrangements and expenses when it comes time.
