Rebecca Hanson Memorial Fund
Rebecca Hanson passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of August 24th. There are no words to express the absolute sorrow that is being felt by those affected by the sudden loss of Rebecca. She made this world a better place. She was a completely selfless, lovable, and nurturing person. She was the best mother to her daughter, Kayla, and wife to her husband, Tommy.
Rebecca has been in our community her entire life. For almost 30 years, she has worked as the manager of River City Pull Tabs, a subsidiary of the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce. The money raised at River City has been used to fund virtually every community event put on by the Soldotna Chamber for the past 28 years. She was incredibly hard-working, never wavering in her dedication to her family, and community. She would drop everything at a moment’s notice to help someone in need. The world is a darker place without her.
This unexpected tragedy has left Tommy and Kayla struggling with both emotional pain and financial burden. Our goal here is to alleviate some of the hardships facing this grieving family. Any funds donated will go directly to them to help with Rebecca's funeral expenses and day-to-day living expenses as they learn to navigate this world without her.
