Supporting Rebecca Through Chemotherapy

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am raising funds for my best friend, Rebecca Kiernan. Rebecca is a 22 year old student at William Paterson University pursuing a degree in counseling. She has passion for music, traveling, and fashion. Rebecca is the type of person who has always given more than she has received.

Recently, Rebecca was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a rare form of anemia impacting her bone marrow. Her treatments currently include frequent trips to the hospital to receive blood and platelet transfusions. In the fall, she will be undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant to treat the condition.

Medical bills are building quickly and essential procedures are not being covered by insurance. Rebecca’s hard working father has been providing for their family since her mother’s own medical conditions have left her disabled, but he can not cover all the cost on his own.
