Rebecca Navarro Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Rebecca (AKA Becky, Beck, Aunt Becky) Navarro was diagnosed with brain cancer (Glioblastoma) on December 29, 2022, and had surgery to remove the tumors just a few days later! However, they were unable to remove all of the mass and had to leave about 20% due to the location in her brain. Over the following 5 months, she bravely endured rigorous treatments of radiation and chemotherapy; but the tumor remained unchanged. Over the first few weeks in June, she lost her ability to walk; then had to be hospitalized where she was referred to hospice care.
Becky was living in a full-time nursing facility under the care of a wonderful hospice organization from June 22 - August 1, 2023. She is now living in Heaven - more alive than she has ever been!
We are very grateful for the fact that - even amid her circumstances - she maintained a strong, bold and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ; she still had that million-dollar smile she would give me every time I asked; and even maintained most of her great sense of humor...and, though she was bed-ridden for the last 6 weeks of her life - she otherwise did not suffer for long!
if you would like to contribute towards her final expenses and out of pocket medical bills, please do so here! The primary burden on her is the total out-of-pocket expense for “room & board” at the nursing facility which alone was almost $14,000.
First priority of funds will be for this specific purpose, then other living expenses and medical bills.
Or, if you’d prefer, you can make a donation in her name to The liveLIVE Foundation (www.liveLIVE.today). They have started The Rebecca Navarro Fund in her honor to financially assist others who have been diagnosed with Glioblastoma (brain cancer) & promote new technology (that she learned of through her research on brain cancers while she was undergoing treatments) that greatly reduces cancer-causing radiation emitted from most of our daily devices (smart phones, tablets, laptops, air pods, smart tv’s, etc.
We already miss her terribly, but we can still honor her by helping to eliminate her worldly expenses from her hospice facility and her final expenses. AND we can make sure she is always remembered by helping others fight like she did…or even educate others on simple ways to reduce their chances of being diagnosed with a brain cancer!
