Rebecca Soriano

On Sunday, November 19, 2023 Rebecca Soriano passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home and loved ones.

What can I say about my mom? She was funny, kind, spunky, and strong. She was an adored teacher for the Santa Paula School District for more that 40 years. She loved what she did. She loved that she made a difference in the lives of the children she had in her classroom. She was strict but just. And everyone loved her for that reason.

The one thing that she loved more than teaching was us; her husband, my brother, me and the grandkids. She used to always tell us:" I can move mountains for you!" And she did! There was nothing else she loved more than us.

She leaves behind her husband, Benjamin, her children, Benjamin Jr and Maria and her grandchildren; Ruby, Hilda, Angel, Fatima, Lindsay, Phoebe, Avanell and Noah.

She will be deeply missed by every single person who knew her. Please keep my family in your prayers and we ask family, friends and our community to come together through this difficult time.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards covering the funeral expenses.
