Rebecca Williams (Gamache) Memorial

We are so thankful for all of our family and friends that have reached out to Becky during her last days, letting her know how loved she truly was.

Becky became very ill suddenly with pneumonia, and a large mass was discovered on her lung.  The diagnosis was stage 4 lung cancer that had metastasized. She then underwent surgery to have a tumor removed from her spine, leaving her to never be able to walk again. The next step for her was radiation, in which her body only accepted 12/20 treatments, causing her to become even more ill. We were then left with no other choice but to put her on hospice since the cancer spread so quickly.  From there, it was a matter of days before she lost her battle, and let me tell you how much she fought for those last few weeks of her life, all while accepting the fact that she had just a little time here before she was called home. 

Becky was an amazing person, who touched many lives, as she struggled to find her way back. As many of you know, we couldn’t pick a better place for her to rest, than with her son Jeffrey, who passed away at just 4 years old with such a tragic end. Aubrey was by Becky’s side through all of this, and I would like to lessen the burden for her. Please find it in your heart to help us give Becky the peace she continued searching for throughout her life journey.

Thank you for your consideration, as our plan is to bury her urn inside a vault in the same plot as her son Jeff. We are grateful for any help.
