Rebekah Mintz Medical Fund

My sister, Rebekah, has been someone on whom I've depend on during some of the biggest struggles of my life. She has spent a good part of her life helping others through missions and teaching English as a second language. I want her to be able to continue being a sister, friend, and humanitarian for many years to come. My heart is breaking as I watch Rebekah's health and quality of life being compromised by a growing mass of fibroid tumors that her gynecologist estimates currently weighing 15 pounds. She needs to have surgery to remove the tumors which are crowding her internal organs.

Rebekah is a woman of great faith and internal strength, but her finances are limited. Before the surgery can even be scheduled she must prepay $5,500 to the hospital and her surgeon. Of course, that is just a portion of the total cost of the procedure($18,000), but needs to take place as soon as possible before her organs become more unable to function.
