Rebirth of The Ann Arbor Syrian deli

Hey everyone!  Our family business has been dubbed by many as “The hidden gem” of Ann Arbor running for over 30 years now. Serving home cooked family recipes from savoury to sweet. Staying consistent with our quality and continuing to support local farmers and grocers to give our customers the best and freshest products and ingredients around. Unfortunately business has not progressed over the past few years to keep us afloat due to Covid restrictions and lack of foot traffic in the area. My parents sold to an investor not to far back (about 5 months ago) to help me financially and physically to uplift the business. Unfortunately it was too much for him to take on and business honestly wasn’t getting any better. In turn he brought in NEW investors who then made the choice to inform me and close our establishment of 30+ years in 3 days time. Unfortunately I had no say in this decision and it was so abrupt we didn’t have a chance to thoroughly prepare ourselves for this sudden change. Shanae, Dima,(two of my best friends ) and I are starting this GoFundMe to help us build a foundation for the rebirth of my parents legacy. The plan is to start off with a food truck while we look for the perfect permanent location. A place to call home. We appreciate any and everything you all do for us. The kindness, and outpouring of genuine love and support has pushed us all to move in this direction.
