GAZA WAR: Saving My Family and Restoring Hope.

Hello everyone

I am Sohaib and I am writing this urgent appeal to help rescue my family from war in Gaza.

Once upon a time, we had a wonderful life, a life full of happiness and laughter. Life is full of achievements and hope for a bright future.

But now…

“We are living in brutal genocide, we never thought even in our dreams to see such days”, this how we all describe the situation in Gaza.

With a broken heart, I am launching this fundraising campaign to help evacuate my family from war in Gaza.

My family is severely impacted by the ongoing brutal war on Gaza.

My wife and my 3 children’s 6,3,2 years old - ’Malak, Amneh & Aya-.

For more than 7 months, the situation has been deteriorating day after another.

The war has turned Gaza into a pile of rubble. With countless families including my family struggling with the harsh realities of the war.

We lived in the North area, the first week of the war our neighborhood was heavily bombarded. We could not run anywhere, the sound of explosions around us was shocking.

For days and nights, we could not sleep more than 3 hours a day, until the day when a massive bomb hit a nearby house, severe damage resulted to my home, and we had to escape at midnight to Middle area.

“Our house was damaged several times in the past wars, we are fed up with repairing our house every two years, we lived in continuous fear and never felt a sense of stability” this is my wife expressing her frustration and anxiety.

That night was the start of our displacement journey seeking safety from one place to another where literally no safe place was left in Gaza.

We lost many family members, my uncle was killed no bomb, and Israeli airstrike took their lives in less than seconds.

“Everything is gone, our dreams, our memories and our dignity, when you lose your home, you live in continuous fear. You face unknown destiny” these are my child Malak words to the world.

The situation is becoming increasingly critical with the spread of diseases, a scarcity of essential needs and ongoing bombardment around us.

My family is trapped in severe conditions without access to basic needs.

They are displaced, traumatized and desperately in need of help.

The world has failed to protect us, humanity has failed to end our suffering and we stopped waiting for help that will never come. We are killed day and night, and we see no end to this war.

Even if the war stopped, my family has nothing to live with, and Gaza became a non-livable place.

I organize this fundraising campaign to secure the necessary funds to help my family to escape war and relocate to Egypt, accommodation and living expenses.

We need to re-establish a new life.

We have lost everything including jobs and income sources, your support will give us hope to survive this genocide and restore our life somewhere else.

I wish I was able to provide for my family without the support of good humans like yourselves and this is not an easy ask. I am doing my best to help my family out.

Everyone in Gaza deserves to live their life to the best and fullest.
