Help Us Rebuild a Veteran’s Home – A Father, Grandfather, a Hero, and a Community Pillar
We’re reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your help in finishing something deeply important — rebuilding the home of our father, a man who has always put others before himself.
Years ago, a devastating storm damaged my dad’s home in New Iberia, Louisiana — inside and out. Since then, he’s been doing his best to make repairs little by little, but progress has been slow. With limited finances and ongoing health challenges, he hasn’t been able to finish the work on his own.
Our dad is a proud 15-year U.S. Army veteran who served our country during Desert Storm and retired with honors. He’s not only a hero in uniform — he’s also a cornerstone of the New Iberia community. He gives his time and energy to charity work through his local church and is always ready to help others, even when he has so little himself.
Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
His birthday is coming up this November, and our dream is to have his house fully repaired by then — to give him the safe, comfortable home he deserves after everything he’s done for his country, his community, and his family.
We’re raising funds to cover the costs of essential repairs: roofing, interior work, plumbing, and other structural fixes that he can no longer tackle alone. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to completing his home and showing him the love and gratitude he’s shown so many others.
Please consider contributing to this effort — and sharing this campaign with others who might be moved by his story. Let’s give this incredible man the gift of peace and comfort in his own home before his next birthday.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
