Help Karim & Paola Rebuild After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family and Kind People Out There,
My brother Karim, his wife Paola and his 21months old daughter Capri had to evacuate their house in Altadena last night due to the Eaton fire, and have woken up to the worst news possible: their beloved first home completely burnt to the ground. Their safe haven where they built all of their baby's first memories, with all of its belongings have gone up in flames overnight.
I never imagined myself starting a GoFundMe and asking for help, until such a disaster happened to someone this close to me. I am Walid Ismail, and I'm Karim's brother. We are shocked and devastated by the unimaginable loss my brother's family is undergoing due to this fire. As we try to stay positive and help family members in times of need, I realized that we can't do this on our own.
Your generosity and kindness will help Karim's family through these challenging times and to be able to get back on their feet. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.
As a first step to help them with some kind of stability to their life and their family, we have set a goal of $50,000. Every donation, irrespective of the amount will aid them in recovering from this unforeseen disaster. We understand if you can't ship in, but if you can at the very least share this page with your social network, we would greatly appreciate it.
On behalf of the Ismail family, we would like to express our gratitude and thank you in advance for your generosity, kindness and empathy as we try to help my brother's family during these devastating times.
Thank you,
The Ismails
