Hello friends, I'm Alaa Khalil from Gaza and I study English literature at Al-Quds Open University. My family and I were displaced during the war after our house was bombed. We have nothing left. We became homeless.

Life as we knew it has changed drastically. Our home, a place filled with love and memories, has been reduced to rubble. We now live in a fragile tent , constantly at risk, with the sounds of bombings and the cries of despair surrounding us. My family of nine (Alaa, my mom Naima, my dad Hasan, my sisters Rahaf and Hala, my brothers Mahmoud, Mohammed, Khalid and Nassar) we are struggling to survive in conditions that no human should endure.

We have survived many wars and conflicts in Gaza "so far" Fortunately, I decided to make this campaign to save my family, this can help me To get out of this genocide, find safety place and complete my university.

Everything in Gaza has been destroyed. There is no job security or steady income in war . Prices of groceries are astronomical and no one can afford it. The tents are damaged quickly, that does not protect us from the harsh winter cold and heavy rains .. We are reaching out to you with a plea for help.

We need to raise $90.000 to evacuate Gaza through the Rafah Checkpoint and secure the resources we need to survive. This amount will cover our travel expenses and provide us with the basic necessities we desperately need.
