Rebuild Cathy’s House of Chickens

My name is Cathy, owner of Cathy’s House of Chickens. This morning at 1:10am the bridal trail that boarders our backyard collapsed from the torrential downpours at Southbury had suffered yesterday. There is a pond in the back of the bridal trail and the drain pipe got clogged the water on the other side of the bridal trail, rose and went over to the other side towards my house, which caused the bridal trail to collapse and cause a mudslide, which in return took out my pavilion, my pool, my pool house, our solar panels, and most importantly my barn that housed over 100 chickens. The mud I completely washed away everything I search for hours looking for my birds this morning and was only able to find two bodies. I am absolutely devastated everyone that knows me knows how much blood sweat and tears I put in to running Cathy‘s house of Chickens. I’m getting lots of messages and phone calls of what people can do and the only thing that I can think of is to raise money to rebuild and continue to provide Chickens for all of my customers again. I ask that you please pray for my family and pray for me because this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do in my life. We have thousands and thousands of dollars in damage and I don’t know where to go from here if anyone can help I would appreciate you if you can’t that’s fine too just please keep us in your prayers.
