Rebuild Cattle Creek Campground
Donation protected
Cattle Creek Campground was partially destroyed by a large fire on March 10, 2017. Numerous "tents" were lost in this fire. Cattle Creek Campmeeting is a Methodist establishment that was started over 200 years ago in 1786 and was named the National Register of Historic Places on May 19, 1983. It is a place where many people go to worship and fellowship. This place holds many memories for so many people, including my family. It is a tragedy for our community, but we will not let this break us. These tents are really cabins made of wood. They are not cheap to build. The tents are not insured. 15 out of 36 tents were totally destroyed. A few were damaged. No amount is too small. All donations will go to the Cattle Creek Campground Board of Trustees. Thank you all for the support!
