Rebuild Cheyenne & Bailey
Donation protected
In the wake of Hurricane Idalia, our resilient local community activists, Cheyenne and Bailey, have been dealt a challenging hand. Their home suffered extensive damage, leaving them with no choice but to seek a new residence. We invite you to stand in solidarity with this incredible couple by joining our crowdfunding campaign to help them rebuild their lives and continue their inspiring work.
Cheyenne and Bailey's home was more than just a house; it was a place where ideas were born, change was sparked, and communities were strengthened.
They were living in a small studio apartment/mother-in-law suite with their pets (5 cats & a dog) when they evacuated. They followed all necessary precautions: sandbags, tarp, wood, plastic bins, etc. But the storm surge was strong. The water burst through the walls and flooded into their home, destroying everything. The countless memories created there were scattered by the storm's fury. With their house no longer inhabitable, they must now embark on the daunting journey of finding a new place to live, whether it be in Florida or not.
They were expecting to have to pick up the pieces after the hurricane, but weren’t expecting how extensive the damage would be… or that they wouldn’t have a home to return to.
