Rebuild Doom Farm
Update: We did it! We reached the goal of $2500! Now we are going to try for a stretch goal of $5000 to help with costs of replacing the shed as well as helping make some infrastructure changes that will help prevent this from happening in the future
Hurricane Irma came and brought many devastations to Florida. It caused massive flooding to my farm and has put the lives of Animals in danger. My farm is not your normal farm, we take in rescues and help give them a better life. We are currently home to 3 goats, 3 geese, 5 pot belly pigs, 2 turkeys, and a number of ducks, chickens, and rabbits. In addition to our outside farm animals, we house a number of reptiles and other exotics inside. We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and educating people about a wide variety of animals from live stock, to exotics. We are raising money to help with any temporary relocation costs and fixes to any pens or structures related to the animals. We are also bringing in a vet to ensure all the animals health after this time of stress. If funding allows we will also make changes to the farm that will hopefully help prevent this from happening again.
